A Day To Rebuild Both Within & The Sewing Room

Needed a recharge and some new grounded energy. To achieve that I went here took deep breaths and just listened to the beautiful waves.

When I got back home I decided to just get a feel  ( jumping the gun the room is not ready yet). Lets try a few setups to see how the new sewing area will feel.

Wow yes I am loving the feel and flow and look at all the room for the long arm to fit too. You can not see the huge work bench cutting table and the space on the other side.  We will be able to fit 5 people comfy happy in here for sure. SMILES!

Room is not ready but who can resist lets get a sewing friend and test the feel while sewing.

WOW ITS VERY PRODUCTIVE AND FLOWS NICELY

Side By Side
I work on a new shirt for My Mom (She loved the other one so much)
Barb works on some really cool dolls ( they will be soon up for sale too )
This set is very productive and its not even set up at all yet...... Our projects are getting done and we are flowing and enjoying the greatness of a day and evening sewing together hanging out. We even had a pizza party with a couple yarn crafting friends in the great new room.

THE FIRST COMPLETED GREAT FUN PROJECTS FROM THE NEW SPACE TEST DAY.

Barbs cool dolls they just need to be stuffed.

My 2nd cat shirt for my mom since she loved the first so much.

Finally The Design Room Is Starting To Take Form.

Please bare with me and enjoy The sewing / quilting that is my only safe place for now. I ask that you all just enjoy and bar with me as the posts will be coming and be very often and have lots of fun stuff to offer. However they may seem out of order and not in any 1 direction. My surgery has me in full blown wild insane surgical menopause. My thoughts and attention is way out of wack. My sleeping is so strange there are times a rotary cutters becomes way to much of a danger to use.  Also I am emotionally just an irrationally non understandably stranger to my own self.  OK ENOUGH OF THAT BABBLE>>>>>

Its been a long time coming looking back at the old posts when I began the new sewing room I left the design stuff in the original room and this will make a lot of extra room for some great art working quilt things to come down the line.

Here is the start as I found My 5' x 4' Table Ironing Board

My Cutting area Works largely on the ironing table however its all organized for the detailed stuff over here.

The soon up and coming serger area that will have some quilting on the one going on and some silly fun clothing reconstructions on the other one.

As you all can see still need the cleaning part to take place however that takes massive amounts of will power and just do it energy that is not happening right now......  I am excited that bit by bit its coming a long and working out almost better than I thought as I feel the flow of it now.....  The sewing room is ion the other room only a few feet away. this set up should be working out wonderfully. I think its harder to figure out how to be so creative with the lack of space when we all seem to have 100 lbs of stash and tools jammed into an area that fits maybe 10 lbs of all that...... SMILES

I AM REALLY GETTING THERE! BEFORE AND AFTER

I have had this room in the house the kind of room that was my sign shop and than grew into the catch all of what you do not want any where but think you might want to keep.... room.  I have thrown out to the curb and garbage almost 4 cans worth of trash I do not want everything I put out to the curb someone has come and grabbed a good for them deal for free. The other greatness of this is I sold some big ticket things in here and made more than I spent with extra and that all is sewing cash flow and catch a bill or two. what a great plus. that made it like I got paid for cleaning my own space up.! SMILES! This adventure was overwhelming at first now feels so good for sure. Well here are 2 very really scarey pictures of the before part. you have been warned!

WIth alot of great support and inspiration from the quilters on the quilting board and a few really great quilting friends who routed me on via texting and ideas and posative influence sharing. I managed to get this far durring the weekend with a reward trip to the quilt farm in boston, ny  and grabbed up a nice stash to make both a quilt for a friend and a great wall hanging for my new room.

This top pic is the sign shop stuff I decided to keep and set up and I will be making some great sewing decals and other stuff. the down side I lost half the room to thia. The upside I can use it now and you will be seeing some cool new decals to dree up your cars rooms and anything smmoth with great sewing stickers and decals. Coming soon.
This side is not all worked out however its got some sewing machines here and I am almost ready to get creative. When I got the space emptied and so much vacuming I reliezed the room was not big enough for my design area and all. so that I am working now. and hopeful will have done by this week and be all set to sew adn create in such a beafutiful new space.  There is still a lot to do however the major bulk of it all is done. now to just organize!

THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT AND POZ ENERGY FLOW THAT I COULD DO THIS AND KEPT THE OVERWHELMING BAREABLE!

Coop Update and Some Small Sewing

I have been running around yet at the same time my motivation has been low in the energy department.  However I got off my butt long enough to get a few things done here and there. The chicken Run is all finished feneced on top to keep the hawks out and all conneted in 2 runs into one with shaded area and sunny area too. The roof is now on the Coop. I am not by any means a roofer but I manged to get this up and complted leak free.

Also I need to add some small sewing A few fun bracelets in here just to work it up to get my motivation going as I believe I have a perfect space and will be making a new sewing room where the whole room will be all my sewing. This will be a lot of work however I believe it will be a nice area when I am finished.  Fingers crossed I get moving to make this happen.

My New Setup and an Invite To Anyone To sew In The Woods.

To my amazement my friend Sherry ( who feels 1 sewing machine all anyone who likes to sew ever needs (she doesn't like sewing) sent me a pic from a garage sale with a table , chair and a small mechinacal singer in perfect condtion. I went over looked it over and there was also a mother load of Viking 116/118 feet and parts inside the chair. That was a great find as I also have this model at home too. I grabbed it all up for $35 and than a few of us went up to my camp. I set it all up everything worked like a dream. I Enjoyed a weekend with a small break in the shade sewing away nothing of real value just some scrap fabric that a friends grabbed up for me to make up some dog beds. What a lovely weekend filled with nature friends food and great sewing fun.  I would like to extend the invite to my sewing friends to come up and plug in and sew outside for a weekend up at my camp.

Chicken Tractor/ Coop Engineering Changes & New Build

Angels lays with her new loved hens as I work on moving the heavy coop they are in now.

Well I built my hitch axle and attached a new set of wheels. this much was a plus. I tested it on the coop they have now so I could move that and it was an epic fail. I did learn a lot and will be armed for the new engineering ideas.  Here is the failed attempt pic I am still impressed I did this all and got this far. Its truly a fun learning adventure with a lot of creativity.

I have the base with hitch finished on the new coup and I tested it towed it around the yard and it works like a charm. Fingers crossed it works that good with the coop built on it. I believe my sewing has helped my a lot in the shop as now I seem more patient and this is just a time like seam ripping I guess.

Hildigar was very happy to have her coup back on the ground for sure.
